Biodegradable and recyclable food packing boxes

Using biodegradable and recyclable packaging materials is part of living green. Finding eco-friendly alternatives to traditional products is becoming easier these days. With the proliferation of products, we have more options in combining green living with modern living.

Packaging materials touch every aspect of our lives in one way or another. From food packaging to parcel packaging, we use a surprisingly wide range of packaging materials. The growth in the amount of packaging we use in our daily lives has had an impact on the amount of waste generated. Waste that cannot be reused or recycled ends up in landfills, where it rots for years, or in some cases, packaging is made of materials that will never decompose. We help protect the environment by finding biodegradable and recyclable alternatives.

Types of Biodegradable and Recyclable Packaging Materials

Fortunately, there are many biodegradable and recyclable packaging materials to choose from. These include:

1. Paper and cardboard – Paper and cardboard are reusable, recyclable and biodegradable. There are many advantages to this type of packaged product, not least that they are relatively inexpensive to produce, making it easier or cheaper to use it. Many packaging manufacturing companies offer packaging made with a high percentage of recycled paper as an environmentally preferred option.

2. Cornstarch – Packaging or bags made of cornstarch are biodegradable and ideal for fast consumption such as takeout, shopping, etc. They are also a good choice for all kinds of food packaging, and a good eco-friendly choice for small express logistics. Cornstarch packaging is biodegradable and has very limited negative impact on the environment.

3. Bubble film – This is widely used as packaging material. Eco-friendly alternatives include bubble wrap made from recycled polyethylene and fully degradable bubble wrap.

4. Biodegradable plastic – This is now commonly used in plastic bags, but is also used in other items such as couriers for bulk mailing. This type of plastic starts to break down when exposed to sunlight and is a good environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastics.

The pizza boxes, sushi boxes, bread boxes and other food packing boxes produced by our company are all degradable materials2
